UNIL launches Interface, its collaborative research support fund UNIL launches Interface, its collaborative research support fund ================================================================== CIVIS Highlights 21 mars 2024 In collaboration with CIVIS Open Labs, the University of Lausanne aims to establish a framework of financial and methodological support to facilitate the development of research with creative and innovative practices and methodologies. ![](/storage/files/adobestock-420270576.jpeg) ©UNIL As part of the ambitious statement of intent outlined by the rectorate of the UNIL, **Interface** – the Collaborative Research Support Fund – aims to support and encourage innovative research projects with significant social impact, developed collaboratively between members of UNIL community and external partners. How it works ------------ While UNIL has long maintained strong ties with its social, economic, and political environment, collaborative research often lacks funding opportunities and academic recognition. Interface aims to promote research that serves societal needs and offers accessible and short-term results to their partners. These collaborations will enhance UNIL’s participation in the social, cultural, ecological, economic and political transitions that we collectively face. Collaborative research, action research, partnership research, citizen science, research creation, and many other approaches will now be more widely supported and implemented at the University.
